Registration

Delegates

Registration is completed online on a first come first serve basis with 1,000 seats. There is no onsite registration as the event is expected to sell out.

You can guarantee your seats by completing the mandatory fields on the Registration form. Though a complete registration requires submission of all required information as well as payment, you do not require all of this information immediately and are not obligated to pay to reserve your seats (see payment policy below).  If the event sells out, a waitlist will be maintained to fill vacancies should they arise.

When you register a group, please read the Health & Safety Regulations and Guidelines aka Code of Conduct, the role of a chaperone as well as the Agenda. We also recommend booking Accommodations as soon as possible. *Please note that all attendees +18 years old and over must provide a recent CRC-VSC in order to be onsite at GOV.*

Chaperones

Have an Account? Please pay, register for workshops and update delegate information here!

A chaperone is the primary adult contact for the youth during the event.  Chaperones must purchase a ticket. There must be one chaperone for every five (5) participants ages 14-17 years and they must be:

  • 21 years of age or older (see: GOV age categories)
  • Responsible for the safety, welfare and conduct of their youth at all times
  • Expected to be a positive role model and set positive examples to all youth.
ALL chaperones must provide a Criminal Record Check in order to attend GOV.
  • Expected to assist youth in locating workshops, arriving in a timely manner and ensure youth remain in their workshops until the session is complete.
  • To be in attendance with their youth during all evening activities (opening ceremonies, talent show, dance) as there is a ‘no re-entry’ policy once performances begin.
