Criminal Record Check

Who needs to get a Criminal Record Check (CRC)?

All GOV attendees 18 years old and over – including delegates, chaperones, volunteers, exhibitors, facilitators, speakers, and staff – are required to have a current, clear Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check on file with the BCAAFC prior to arrival at GOV.

 

Option 1: BC Services Card 

  1. You will need your BC Services Health Card
  2. Click the https://justice.gov.bc.ca/criminalrecordcheck/
  3. Enter the internal access code: 2LMZZ4EHQ6

 

Option 2: No BC Services Card?  

  1. Request letter for volunteer support from Registration Coordinator, SCJohnson@bcaafc.com
  2. Visit your local police station with a letter for volunteer support

 

Option 3: If you already have a recently dated CRC vulnerable sector check 

  1. If you have a Criminal Record Check from January 1, 2022 to the present date, email a copy to govcoordinator@bcaafc.com

 

 

This process can take 2-3 weeks to process. It will be mandatory to have the CRC in upon arrival at the event.
