Honouring Feast
Feast & Blanketing
The Honouring Feast is our way of showing youth in and from care that we love them and care about their well-being. Any youth who identifies as having had an in-care experience is welcome. Chaperones are welcome to attend if requested by the youth.
The Honouring Feast consists of a nourishing meal, a Blanketing Ceremony, and gifts and door prizes. Tsow-Tun Le Lum Society will be there for the duration of the event, offering cultural support and brush-offs and smudgings after the Ceremony, so participants can continue their day feeling loved and cared for.
Youth will have the opportunity to be blanketed or they may hold the blanket instead.
