Ticket applications for GOV 2027 are closed! Thank you to all who applied. Extra tickets will not be available at the event.

If you applied for tickets, your next steps are as follows:

Check your emails on Oct. 13, 2026 (including spam folder) to see if you have been offered GOV tickets. We will not send an email if you were not offered tickets.

If you were offered tickets, an invoice will be sent to you with payment instructions. Pay for them by 11:59 p.m. on December 8, 2026.

If you were not offered tickets, please check your emails again on December 9, 2026 to see if you were offered tickets from the waitlist.

Please note that our GOV team is mighty but small! For this reason, we are not able to respond to inquiries about why your application was rejected.

Application Process

✅ Create your account in the GOV app or log in to your account and ensure your information is up to date prior to application opening.

✅ Submit your application starting at 10:00 a.m. PST on Sept. 22, 2026. Applications must be submitted through the GOV app (we do not offer paper applications).

Payment Policy

Registration fees are set at $450 per person.
Full payment must be received by BCAAFC no later than Dec. 8, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. or your seats will be released to the waitlist.
Tickets are non-transferable.
We can take payment through credit card or cheque:
- Credit card payments must be done through Square. You will receive an email directly from Square with the link to pay (and follow-up emails until the total is paid). A receipt will be emailed to you directly from Square.
- If paying by cheque, advise our office by email at [email protected]. Please mail your cheque to 551 Chatham Street, Victoria BC V8T 1E1. A receipt will be issued after your cheques arrive at the BCAAFC office to your e-mail. Cheques should be made out to BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres or BCAAFC. Be sure to note on the cheque stub that this is a payment for GOV 2027.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made by 4:00 p.m. on Jan. 29, 2027 will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made by 4:00 p.m. on Feb. 19, 2027 will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made by 4:00 p.m. on March 5, 2027 will receive a 25% refund.
No refunds will be issued on March 6, 2027 or after.
Refunds will be made by credit card, EFT, or cheque, paid to the group organization/owner holding the tickets. Processing time will be 30-60 days.

Registration

Every person attending GOV needs to register in the GOV app.

Registering prior to day one of GOV helps us plan a safe, accessible event that meets the diverse needs of the people in your group. It also helps ensure that Registration Day goes smoothly for your group so you can get started on the fun right away!
