Gathering Our Voices is thrilled to announce that it will be held on the traditional territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) speaking Songhees and ɪˈskwaɪmɔ (Esquimalt) First Nations in the city of Victoria, B.C.
Victoria is the capital of B.C. and is known for its mild climate, natural coastal beauty, traditional Coast Salish landmarks, and gardens. This is our third time hosting GOV in the province’s capital and we are excited to gather everyone here.
All plenary events and workshops will take place at the Fairmont Empress Hotel, the Victoria Conference Centre (VCC), and Crystal Gardens, and other venues and outdoors spaces in the area. Shuttle bus services will be available to help delegates move between workshop venues.
