FASHION SHOW
GOV's First Fashion Show
GOV 2026 introduced our first-ever fashion show.
Delegates were invited to watch or participate as models. All models participated in an exclusive workshop with designer Pam Baker. They had their hair and makeup done and got to model an Indigenized BC Lions jersey that they could take home! All genders were welcome and no modelling experience was necessary. Huge thank you to Ashley Callingbull, Pam Baker, and all the amazing models for making the event a huge success!

Who can attend?
All registered delegates and chaperones wearing their GOV wristbands and lanyards are welcome. No extra sign-up needed — just show up ready to cheer, celebrate, and be inspired.
Want to walk the runway?
If you’re a youth who dreams of modelling in the show, this is your moment. Join our Fashion Show Prep Workshop on March 19, where participants will spend the morning learning, rehearsing, and preparing to hit the runway that afternoon. No experience necessary!
Want to showcase your designs?
Have you made a ribbon skirt, T-shirt, or another piece you’re proud of? We want to see it! Join the Fashion Show Prep Workshop to model your own designs or collaborate with models to bring your creations to the runway.
Important: To sign up to be a model, go to the workshop section in the GOV app! Folks who filled out our Expression of Interest will get first priority to the 20 spots we have available.
